Planning Makes Perfect

Hey guys, I'm back! Giulia and I started discussing what we are going to do and and the things needed for our music video on the song "Attracted to you" by PinkPantheress. We've planned everything out and I wanted to share it with all of you.

First, we need a few props to truly enhance our video. The biggest prop we need is a car with a radio for the first scene where the actress would start playing the song. Next, we need a cell phone for when she contemplates calling the person she is thinking about. The next scene would require a bouquet of flowers that the actress would bring to someone's front door step. The final prop we need is a bed for the second to last scene.

The next thing we considered are the costumes we would be using. For the first and second scenes we would be using the same costumes, casual wear like jeans, a shirt, and sneakers. However, for the next scene on the bed, the actress would wear pajamas, pajama pants or shorts and a shirt. Then, in the last scene, the actress would be wearing a skirt and shirt.

For our filming schedule, we would meet three times to get all of the shots we need for the video. We would need to meet on November 23, November 28, and December 1. This way we could avoid working during and immediately after Thanksgiving, but can still take advantage of the time we have during break.

We would have three filming locations. We would first film at my house for the car scene. Then, the next two scenes, the flower scene and the bed scene, would be filmed at Giulia's house. Lastly, the field scene would be filmed at a park near our school, Middle River Terrace Park.

The Health and Safety Protocols we would make sure to follow would be first, for the car scene, ensuring the car is in park while filming. When going to each location, if walking, we would also make sure to cross the street carefully and film away from cars and vehicles.

Lastly, in case we cannot film at Giulia's house, we would film at mine. In the scenario that we can't film at either of our homes, we would meet up at a friend's house and film there. If it rains the day we film at the park, we can find an area with an overhang nearby that we could film at.

Since we've completed our planning for the music video, the next step will be to storyboard our commercial, and don't worry, I'll keep you guys updated on how the rest of the project goes! See you next time.
